Abraham Lincoln School

The school operates under the motto "Aspire, Learn, Succeed." It is a private, co-educational institution founded in 1917 and owned by the Central Romana Corporation.

The primary school follows the British National Curriculum, while the secondary school curriculum is based on the I.G.C.S.E. (International General Certificate of Secondary Education). While English is the primary language of instruction, Dominican teachers provide instruction in Spanish Language and Literature, Dominican History, and Geography. The school maintains a maximum class size of 18 students.

The school reports that 100% of its graduates enroll in universities in the Dominican Republic, Europe, or the United States. Alumni have attended institutions such as Columbia University, Cornell University, Georgetown University, Duke University, Stanford University, and the University of Pennsylvania, as well as local universities including Intec and PUCMM. Students in grades 11 and 12 preparing for American university entry take the SAT and TOEFL examinations.

Admission is subject to approval by the School Board and an academic evaluation in English and Mathematics. Applicants must submit a completed form by May 1st, accompanied by an original birth certificate, previous school records, vaccination records, and a photograph. Students must be 4 years of age by September 1st to enter the Pre-kindergarten program, and new students are not accepted once the school year has commenced.

The school is situated within the Central Romana complex and features air-conditioned classrooms, a library with over 20,000 books, and a spacious hall with a stage. Science facilities include dedicated laboratories for chemistry, physics, and biology, alongside two computer rooms, an art room, a ceramics room with a kiln, and a music room. Outdoor sports facilities include a baseball field, a soccer field, and courts for basketball and volleyball.
