Adventist School Bouchrieh

Adventist School Bouchrieh is a Seventh-day Adventist mission school focused on the harmonious development of a student's spiritual, mental, physical, and social character. It aims to foster a recognition of God as the source of knowledge while encouraging students to become responsible, civic-minded individuals who are responsive to the needs of others. The school emphasizes the importance of building a meaningful relationship with God alongside academic achievement.

The school follows the Lebanese national program, with Arabic as the first language, English as the first foreign language, and French as the second. The curriculum is divided into five divisions: Preschool (KGI–KGIII), Lower Elementary (Grades 1–3), Upper Elementary (Grades 4–6), Intermediate (Grades 7–9), and Secondary. Information technology is integrated across all levels, and the secondary division provides career and academic orientation to prepare students for government official exams and higher education.

The school does not accept learners whose disabilities require special care, as it currently lacks the necessary facilities and human resources to provide such support.

Admission is open to students regardless of religion, race, or socio-economic status, provided they demonstrate the necessary personal capability. Applicants must be proficient in English and French, as these are the primary languages of instruction. The process involves an interview with the Head of Division and entrance examinations for all divisions except preschool. Priority is given to siblings of current students and children of alumni.

The school day runs from 7:35 a.m. to 2:20 p.m., divided into seven 50-minute periods. The academic year includes various school-wide events, such as open houses, entrance exams, and seasonal programs. Specific dates for the start of classes are typically communicated for individual grade levels, such as grades 9 and 12.

Located on a 19,600 m2 campus in the Maten area, the school provides a range of specialized facilities to support student development. These include a science lab, a library, an art center, and a dedicated dance room with a flexible performance surface. Sports infrastructure features both football and basketball courts available for use during and after school hours.

The school offers a weekly timetable that includes at least one activity session per day, covering areas such as sports, music, martial arts, computer skills, art, and dance. Extracurricular engagement is encouraged to support university applications, with past activities including robotics, football camps, and awareness campaigns. A 250-seat theater is available for student performances and talent showcases.
