Admissions
Prospective families must complete an online enquiry form, which initiates the admission process. Following the submission of this form, parents are invited to the school for a personal visit and an interview. Registration is finalized upon payment of an annual registration fee and an initial deposit equivalent to two months' tuition.
Facilities
About the campus
The school is located in an area of outstanding natural beauty in El Cautivador, overlooking the Mediterranean coastline and the town of Altea. The campus comprises 22 classrooms across seven buildings, which have been sympathetically restored using natural materials like stone and wood. Facilities include an auditorium, a music room, an art workshop, and a fruit and vegetable garden. The site is situated next to the CEM environment centre and an early 19th-century chapel.






Anja TraubHeadteacher and FounderAnja Traub is the headteacher and founder of AIS, which she established in 2012. She holds a BA Hons in Music and a PGCE with merit from Nottingham University, and previously spent 18 years as a violinist in the Munich Philharmonic Orchestra.
José BenaventeDeputy HeadteacherJosé Benavente is the deputy headteacher and a PE teacher at AIS. He holds a degree in Sport Science from the Universidad de Valencia and a Master of Education from the Universidad de Alicante, and has been with the school since 2016.
