Secondary pathways include General, Health & Life, and Engineering & Computer streams.

Al-Khandaq National Schools have achieved the highest ranking in aptitude and achievement tests in Madinah. The school operates from Sunday to Thursday, 7:00 am to 1:30 pm, and on Saturdays from 8:00 am to 12:30 pm. Free remedial classes are provided for students every Saturday.

The campus is a model educational complex featuring 130 classrooms, 10 science labs, and 7 computer labs. Sports facilities include a semi-Olympic swimming pool (25m x 13m x 1.75m), eight shaded football fields, and six basketball towers. The site also contains eight large multi-purpose halls and five learning resource centers.

The school hosts a diverse range of scientific, cultural, literary, and social activities, including a specialized theatrical group known as the Al-Khandaq Team for Purposeful Art. Students have access to five studios and a theater with a capacity of over 1,000 people for performances, chanting, and operettas. Additionally, the school offers free workshops for memorizing the Holy Quran before the start of the school day.
