Al Nahda National School for Boys

The school’s vision is for everyone to engage, reflect, and learn, with a mission to develop the whole learner by connecting knowledge to real-life situations. It emphasizes values such as respect, integrity, empathy, resilience, honesty, care, and tolerance, while promoting UAE citizenship, sustainability, and an appreciation for diverse cultures.

The school offers both American and British curriculum pathways, covering subjects such as Languages, Mathematics, Sciences, Humanities, Information Technology, Islamic Studies, Physical Education, Music, Drama, and Art. The academic program is designed to provide a broad foundation and in-depth knowledge, preparing students for international qualifications including IGCSEs, GCSEs, A-levels, BTEC vocational qualifications, and SATs.

Al Nahda National Schools has graduated nearly 6,000 students who have gone on to serve in key positions within the nation and internationally. The school prepares students to be lifelong learners, critical thinkers, and global citizens, with many graduates pursuing tertiary education overseas.

The school provides support for students with learning difficulties and offers encouragement for gifted and talented students. English Language Specialists work with students who are not proficient in English, both individually and in small groups, to help them develop the necessary academic proficiency to mainstream into the classroom.

Admission is open to students regardless of race, religion, gender, or ethnicity, provided the school can meet their individual educational needs. The process involves an online application, an oral interview, and a computer-based entrance exam for students from Grade 1 through Grade 12. Priority for available seats is given to siblings of current students and children of school employees.

Registration for the upcoming academic year begins in January and continues throughout the year. The general administration office operates Sunday through Thursday from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm, and Friday from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm.

The school operates two campuses, the Girls’ School and the Boys’ School, which feature classrooms, science laboratories, ICT facilities, learning resource areas, and dedicated student activity spaces. Both campuses provide sports facilities to support physical education and extracurricular engagement.

The school offers a variety of enriching extra-curricular activities designed to stimulate student development. These include sports, heritage festivals, science fairs, and annual graduation ceremonies, all aimed at fostering leadership, citizenship, and personal growth.
