Al-Sharq International School (Boys)

The school follows the British curriculum, with English as the primary language of instruction. The academic stages include Nursery, Reception I & II, Key Stage 1 (Years 1–2), Key Stage 2 (Years 3–6), Key Stage 3 (Years 7–9), and Key Stage 4 (Year 10), which includes O and A Level preparation. Core subjects include English, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Geography, History, and Information Technology, supplemented by Islamic Studies, Arabic, Art, and Physical Education.

The school provides support for students with different linguistic backgrounds to ensure they can access the curriculum. Class sizes are capped at a maximum of 20 students to facilitate personalized attention, effective interaction, and consistent academic evaluation.

Admission is open to students of all nationalities, with registration typically occurring in July and August. The process requires a placement test, an interview, and the submission of documents including a passport, Iqama, birth certificate, photographs, and a transfer letter from the previous school. Students are placed in academic levels based on age and academic readiness, following the British curriculum structure.

The academic year runs from September to June. The school maintains a structured academic planner divided into three terms for both the Kindergarten section and Grades 1–9.

The campus features well-equipped classrooms and laboratories used for core and enrichment subjects. The school also includes a dedicated nursery department with modern daycare facilities and provides transportation services for students.

The school promotes holistic development through various activities, including research tasks, presentations, field trips, reading programs, spelling competitions, and writing exercises.
