Admissions

Calendar
The academic year is divided into three terms: the Golden Season (late August to mid-December), the White Season (mid-January to early April), and the Green Season (late April to mid-June). About the campus
The campus features seven boarding houses, a library, and the Miyazaki building for performing arts. The Sports Centre includes a gym, an Olympic-sized swimming pool, a basketball court, and a martial arts area. The school also houses an Innovation Hub for STEAM-related projects and provides access to nearby facilities, including Japan’s largest ski resort in the Tohoku region, a 36-hole golf course, and 14 tennis courts.
Co-curriculars
The enrichment programme includes co-curricular and super-curricular activities, student leadership and service opportunities, and visual and performing arts such as drama, music, and dance. Competitive team sports include football, basketball, rugby, volleyball, and swimming, with regular matches against local and regional schools. Additionally, the school operates five focused Sports Academies: tennis, golf, mountain biking, trail running, and alpine sports (skiing/snowboarding).

Stephen Tong joined Harrow Appi in August 2023 as Acting Head Master. He has over thirty-two years of teaching experience, including over twenty years in senior leadership roles, and previously served as the Headteacher of a large secondary school in the UK and as Acting Head Master of Harrow Shenzhen Qianhai. He holds a degree in History from Durham University.
