Miras International School in Astana is a private, elite international school established in 1999 that integrates national educational standards with International Baccalaureate (IB) programmes. It is the first international school in Kazakhstan to be authorized across all levels of the IB curriculum.

Programmes

The school offers a comprehensive education from kindergarten through to the IB Diploma Programme (grades 11-12). The secondary school (grades 5-9) follows the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) framework, covering eight subject areas including languages, mathematics, sciences, individuals and societies, design, arts, and physical education. The curriculum integrates STEM projects, robotics, and digital design, while also preparing students for IGCSE exams and the final IB Diploma. A French school programme is also available.

Graduates have a 100% success rate in university admissions, with students attending institutions in Kazakhstan, the UK, the USA, Canada, Russia, China, the Czech Republic, and New Zealand. Over 400 graduates have been accepted into top-100 global universities, and many students have received university grants and awards in international and national competitions.
