Bishop's College School

The school offers a university-preparatory curriculum for Grades 7 to 12. Students may earn the New Brunswick Secondary School Diploma (NBSSD) or the Quebec Secondary School Diploma (QSSD/DES). As an IB World School, the institution also offers the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) and course certificates for students in Forms VI and VII (Grades 11-12). The academic program is supported by small class sizes and a focus on critical, independent, and creative thinking.

Graduates are prepared to thrive at top universities around the world. The school's university advising department works closely with students and families to guide them through the post-secondary admissions process. Howson Enrichment Centre. Additionally, the school employs a school counsellor and medical staff to support the mental, emotional, and physical well-being of the student body.

The school accepts applications for students in Grades 7 to 12. The admissions process includes an application fee, and the school is need-aware when considering applications. Financial assistance is available through the BCS Foundation, with applications reviewed by a committee based on demonstrated financial need. Sibling discounts are also available.

The school operates on an annual cycle that includes orientation for new students and parents in late August. The academic year features various community events, such as Homecoming, and follows a schedule that includes school breaks. The 250-acre campus features extensive athletic and academic facilities, including the H. Weir-Davis Memorial Gymnasium with two basketball courts and a 40-foot climbing wall, and the Memorial Arena, one of Canada's oldest covered ice rinks. Other on-campus amenities include the Hiles Family Fitness Centre, six sports fields, three tennis courts, and several kilometres of wooded cross-country and mountain-biking trails. Off-campus, students have access to the Bishop's University indoor pool, the Lennoxville Curling Club, and local golf courses and ski resorts.

The school offers over 55 co-curricular activities designed to challenge students and encourage the discovery of new interests. These include competitive sports, artistic pursuits, community service initiatives, and leadership opportunities such as the cadet program. Students are encouraged to engage in these activities to foster personal development and well-being outside the classroom.
