BKA offers a continuous educational journey from daycare through to graduation. The curriculum incorporates the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) and the Swiss Lehrplan 21 in primary years, transitioning to the International British Curriculum, including IGCSE and A-Level pathways, in the secondary and high school years. The programme is delivered through a bilingual approach, ensuring proficiency in both English and German.

The academic year is divided into two semesters. While core fees cover the standard academic programme, holiday camps are available for booking separately, providing coverage from 8:00 to 15:00 or 19:00.

BKA operates across five centrally located campuses in Basel-Stadt: Wettstein, Spalentor, and Gellert 37 (serving ages 3 months to 6 years), Gellert 25 (ages 6 to 9 years), and Rittergasse (ages 9 to 18 years). These facilities are designed to provide safe, welcoming environments tailored to specific age groups and are easily accessible by public transport. The locations allow students to integrate into the cultural and educational life of Basel, with proximity to the city's historic centre, theatres, and the Rhine.

After-school care is available daily from 15:00 to 19:00 with flexible scheduling options.
