The Academic: English Language Learning Journal is a peer-reviewed scientific publication managed by the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education at Universitas Bosowa in Makassar, Indonesia.

Teaching approach
The journal is committed to the dissemination of scientific research and literature reviews within the fields of education, language teaching, English literature, and linguistics. It operates under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License and adheres to established publication ethics and editorial policies.
Programmes
The journal publishes professional, conceptual, and research-based articles, including both qualitative and quantitative studies. Its primary scope covers education, language teaching, education policy, curriculum and material development, ICT in education, and linguistics and literature. It releases two issues annually, in June and December.
