Admissions

The school welcomes applications from students aged 15–19. Prospective students may visit the campus for a tour and to meet academic staff, or arrange an informal interview via Zoom or telephone. The application process requires the submission of an application form and a portfolio of artwork, which may lead to a conditional or unconditional offer. A Level courses offer intake points in both September and January.

About the campus

The school is currently situated on a 20-acre rural campus in Buckinghamshire, featuring an indoor swimming pool, sports hall, tennis courts, and football pitches. The teaching facilities include specialist art studios equipped with 3D printers, laser cutters, printing presses, and a photo-media centre. Boarding students reside in single, en-suite rooms with study areas, supported by house staff and access to laundry and kitchenette facilities. Starting in September 2026, the school will relocate to the Heathfield School campus in Ascot, where it will maintain dedicated teaching, studio, and boarding spaces.

Co-curriculars

Extracurricular activities are designed to enrich the student experience and foster community spirit. These include a variety of sporting and cultural activities, as well as after-school workshops held in the specialist art studios. Students also have opportunities to participate in collaborative projects, such as exhibitions and performance projects.

    Colin Kerrigan is the Executive Director and founder of ISCA, with a background as an accomplished sculptor and former Deputy Director of International Development at the University of the Arts London. He holds a fellowship from Rotary International and has extensive experience in international art and design education.

    Robert Hunter is the Head of School, with a background in Hispanic Studies and extensive experience in international education management, including roles as Vice-Principal and Principal in India and New Zealand. He also served as General Manager of the Nirmala Devi World Foundation.
