British Nigerian Academy is a co-educational institution that aims to nurture well-rounded individuals into responsible citizens of a global society. The school delivers a blended curriculum incorporating British, Nigerian, and International Baccalaureate (IB) frameworks. The academic structure spans the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), Primary School, and Secondary School (Junior and Senior), culminating in the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) and a University Foundation Programme. The school accepts applications from Creche through to SS2, with admissions to JS3 and SS3 handled via special request. The process involves the purchase of an admission form, followed by an entrance examination covering English, Mathematics, and General Science, alongside an oral discussion to assess language skills. Scholarship opportunities are available for high-performing students, offering tuition discounts based on examination results.

The school operates on a standard academic session, with three entrance examinations held annually on dates announced to parents and via social media. The school day runs from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.

Located on a 10-hectare campus within the Prince and Princess Estate, the school is designed to accommodate up to 1,000 students. The campus features state-of-the-art facilities, including specialized learning spaces for STEM, coding, and robotics, as well as boarding facilities for students.
