The British School of Tenerife is a non-profit international school providing a world-class British education to students aged 18 months to 18 years. It is the only school in the north and metropolitan area of Tenerife to undergo British government-approved inspections.

About the campus

The school operates across two sites: the La Luz site for Early Years and Primary, and the Trinity site for Secondary and Sixth Form. The La Luz site features a dedicated EYFS building, a primary building, a neurodiversity room, a music room, an indoor sports hall, a library, a sensory room, a multipurpose room, a computing suite, playgrounds, and a dining room. The Trinity site includes physics, biology, and chemistry laboratories, as well as dedicated rooms for art, history, geography, mathematics, computer science, languages, drama, and literacy, alongside playgrounds and a dining room.

Co-curriculars

Students participate in a variety of activities including school clubs, the Junior Duke Award, and Erasmus+ exchanges. Leadership opportunities are available through roles such as Prefects, House Captains, School Council members, Playground Buddies, Lead Learners, Eco Warriors, Reading Ambassadors, Library Monitors, and Assembly DJs. Sports competitions against other British schools and special events like the Leavers Ball are also part of school life.
