Bureche School

The school offers a bilingual curriculum in English and Spanish, incorporating the HighScope International Pre-School Curriculum and the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme. Students have the opportunity to earn a triple degree, comprising American, Colombian, and IB diplomas. The academic structure is divided into Preschool (K1 to 1st grade), Primary (2nd to 5th grade), Middle School (6th to 8th grade), and Baccalaureate (9th to 12th grade).

The school maintains a Learning Center staffed by a team of professionals dedicated to providing academic, emotional, and social support. It implements the RULER emotional intelligence programme, created by Yale University, to help students recognise, understand, and regulate their emotions. Additionally, the school has a nurse on-site in an equipped medical space.

The admission process includes a personalised tour, a registration form, and an interview and test for the applicant. The school operates on a standard academic day from 6:50 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. for students in second through twelfth grade, with the option to extend until 4:30 p.m. for extracurricular activities. Preschool schedules vary by grade level, typically beginning at 8:00 a.m. and concluding between 11:30 a.m. and 2:45 p.m. depending on the day and age group. An early bird programme is available from 6:50 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. for younger students.

The campus features modern facilities designed to support integral development, including classrooms equipped with state-of-the-art technology. Key amenities include a library, a laboratory, a farm, a kindergarten sandbox, and a primary court. The school also provides a restaurant service with balanced menus overseen by a nutritionist and food engineer, as well as a sectorised school transport service.
