Notion International School operates as a professional learning community that prioritizes student talents and interests while stimulating intellectual, creative, physical, and social development. The school is authorized to offer the three core International Baccalaureate programmes: the Primary Years Programme (PYP) for ages 3–12, the Middle Years Programme (MYP) for ages 11–16, and the Diploma Programme (DP) for ages 16–19. The PYP utilizes a transdisciplinary, inquiry-based framework, while the MYP focuses on holistic development and real-world connections. The DP is a two-year curriculum comprising six subject groups—including language and literature, language acquisition, individuals and societies, sciences, mathematics, and the arts—alongside three core components.

The school aims to develop students into responsible global citizens who are balanced, open-minded, and principled. Graduates are expected to possess the critical thinking, communication, and reflection skills necessary to contribute positively to both local and global societies. The curriculum is designed to prepare students for success in college and beyond.

The school operates on a Sunday to Thursday schedule, with daily hours from 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM.

The campus in the Feisal District of Giza features IT-enabled, state-of-the-art facilities, including spacious classrooms with smart boards, ICT labs with high-speed broadband, and well-resourced libraries. Sports facilities include courts for basketball, volleyball, and tennis, as well as a football field and areas for indoor games like table tennis and chess. Specialized spaces include art studios, a cooking room, a music room, a theater/multipurpose hall, science laboratories, and age-appropriate outdoor play areas for younger students. The school also maintains a dedicated fleet of buses for student transportation.

The school provides a range of extracurricular activities designed to complement the academic curriculum. These include opportunities for students to engage in sports, arts, and other interest-based programmes, such as the Model United Nations (MUN) and various workshops. Additionally, the school operates the Notion Academy to further support student development outside of standard classroom hours.
