Stanford International School

The school is committed to a journey of academic excellence built on a conceptual approach to learning. It emphasizes putting knowledge into practice, such as through hands-on science experiments, and utilizes an individualized approach to help students reach their full potential.

The school serves students from Pre-K through Grade 12, divided into Early Childhood and Elementary (Pre-K–Grade 6), Middle School (Grades 7–9), and High School (Grades 10–12). The core curriculum includes English, Mathematics, Sciences, Arabic, and Individuals & Society, supplemented by French and German language programs. High school students have access to the AP program, with plans to introduce the IB program in the future.

Stanford International School provides a robust English as a Second Language (ESL) program. This support is available to students in Elementary, Middle, and High School to assist those whose mother tongue is not English in achieving academic success.

Admission is based on an individual evaluation, which includes a review of previous school records, a personal interview, and entrance examinations in English, Mathematics, and non-verbal reasoning. For the Foundation Stage, the school utilizes classroom observations to assess ability. Applicants for KG1 must be at least 3 years and 6 months old by October 1st, and priority is given to siblings of current students.

The school maintains an active event calendar that includes academic and extracurricular activities. Examples of scheduled events include an Elementary Science Fair held in the main building and a Middle and High School Science Fair hosted in the school garden.
