Sant'Anna International School

The school promotes a collaborative teaching-learning system where the student acts as the protagonist. The school offers two primary pathways: the Brazilian Program (Early Childhood to High School) and the International Program (Early Childhood to High School). The International Program integrates Brazilian and American curricula, utilizing the K12 International Academy for advanced courses, including Honors and Advanced Placement (AP) options. Early Childhood education is inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach, while Elementary, Middle, and High School levels incorporate STEAM, digital literacy, and artificial intelligence into their bilingual curricula. Extended day options, such as 'Sant'Anna Plus' and 'Sant'Anna Care', are available for younger students.

Students in the International Program have the opportunity to earn dual certification, meeting both the Brazilian MEC requirements and American curriculum standards. Graduates are prepared to pursue academic paths at universities in Brazil and abroad. The school is internationally accredited by Cognia and is a member of the UNESCO Associated Schools Network (ASPnet).

The school provides an English Language Learners (ELL) program for students needing additional support with English and a Portuguese Language Learning (PLL) program for international students not fluent in Portuguese. A specialized School Counseling team works with students, educators, and families to support social-emotional development, including resilience, self-knowledge, and empathy. Additionally, Middle and High School students are supported by a teacher-tutor who provides individual and group guidance.

The admissions process consists of five stages: filling out an interest form, a campus visit, an evaluation and coordination interview, document analysis, and final enrollment. Interested families can contact the school via phone or email to begin the process. The school accepts applications for both the Brazilian and International programs.

The school operates two distinct academic calendars. The Brazilian Program runs from January to December, while the International Program follows an August to June schedule.

The campus features a range of specialized learning and recreational spaces, including eight classrooms and labs, two libraries, and three sports areas. Facilities include a chemistry lab, a math learning center, a maker room with workbenches, a Pikler room, an auditorium, and a community workshop. Outdoor and recreational areas include a soccer field, a sports court, a martial arts room, and playgrounds. Food services are supported by a main lunch room, a dining area, and a cafeteria.

The school offers a variety of extracurricular activities, including competitive sports and interschool tournaments, Model United Nations (MUN), and the National Honor Society (NHS). Students may also participate in a Student Council, social entrepreneurship and innovation projects, and various academic, cultural, artistic, and science clubs. A House Program connects students across all grade levels through collaborative projects and challenges.
