About the campus
The 33-hectare Waterford campus features extensive facilities, including the Canterbury Taipans Aquatic, Tennis & Athletics Centre and a dedicated Sports Hall. The campus also houses the Bareibun Precinct, a Junior School kitchen garden, and the Yalburru Community Cafe. Specialized learning spaces include 1:1 technology integration and various administrative hubs, such as the Care Central student services centre.
Co-curriculars
Canterbury College provides a wide range of co-curricular activities, including sports, performing arts, and leadership programs. Mr Daniel Walker is Canterbury’s fifth Principal, having joined the College in 2019. He holds a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Education from the University of Queensland and a Master of Education from Monash University, and was named one of Australia’s Most Influential Educators in 2023.

Mrs King oversees the quality and development of the College's holistic educational offerings and serves as Chief of Staff. She joined Canterbury from Methodist Ladies’ College in Perth, where she was Director of Innovation, and holds a Bachelor of Education and Master of Education.
- Mr Johan LouwHead of Business and Infrastructure
Mr Louw drives the strategy and operational management of the College's financial modelling and performance, overseeing budget processes and capital works projects. He joined Canterbury as Financial Controller after serving as College Accountant at Calvary Christian College for 11 years.
- Ms Karen RomanHead of Junior School
Ms Roman previously served as the Manager of Student Services at Independent Schools Queensland and as a Head of Junior School at a large independent school on the Gold Coast. She is focused on classroom discipline, high-energy teaching, and student wellbeing.
- Mr Nicholas StansbieHead of Senior School
Mr Stansbie previously served as Dean of Students at The Southport School and held leadership roles at Ballarat Clarendon College. He focuses on resilience, character development, and pastoral care for students in Years 7–12.
- Mrs Rebecca AdamsonHead of Teaching and Learning
Mrs Adamson oversees the academic curriculum, pedagogy, and student performance for Years 7-12. She joined Canterbury in 2020 and previously served in various leadership roles at Iona College, including Head of English and Head of Pedagogy.

Leigh Mayes serves as the Head of Early Learning at Canterbury College.
