Carthage Classical Academy

Carthage Classical Academy aims to cultivate moral leaders and global thinkers who can shape the culture around them. The school is governed by a Board of Trustees committed to its vision, mission, and core values, with operations overseen by a Director-General. It emphasizes a student-focused approach within a family-like environment.

The school offers a comprehensive American curriculum spanning Kindergarten through 12th grade. The academic program is divided into Primary and Secondary school levels, with one class per grade level. The curriculum is designed to build a strong foundation in the primary years and provide quality academic preparation throughout the secondary years.

The school provides support services for students, though its capacity to accommodate certain special needs is limited. Applicants with special needs undergo an assessment to determine if the school's available academic support is sufficient for their success. English language proficiency assessments are required for students for whom English is a second language.

The school accepts applications for students from Kindergarten through 12th grade, with new applications accepted from January 1st. The admissions process includes a family information form, an interview, pre-admission assessments—such as English language proficiency and grade-level testing—and the submission of required medical and academic records. Priority placement is encouraged by April 30th, and the school maintains a waiting list if enrollment demands exceed capacity. Kindergarten applicants must be five years old by September 1st of the current school year.

The school operates on a standard academic schedule with office hours from 07:30 to 15:30, Monday through Thursday, and 07:30 to 12:30 on Fridays. The school is closed on Saturdays and Sundays. Detailed academic calendars are available for download through the school's portal.

The campus is located in the Mutuelleville district of Tunis. It features dedicated spaces for science instruction at both the middle and high school levels, as well as facilities to support music and robotics programs. The school continues to seek funding for ongoing campus expansion projects.

Students participate in a variety of activities including Vex Robotics, student council, and band class. The school also hosts events such as morning assemblies, primary and secondary musicals, winter theater productions, field days, and international and Tunisia-themed days. Additionally, students engage in field trips and community-focused events like yard sales.
