The school follows the British curriculum, incorporating the requirements of the National Curriculum for England. The Early Years programme is divided into six areas of learning: personal, social and emotional development; communication, language and literacy; mathematical development; knowledge and understanding of the world; physical development; and creative development. The school provides education through the Early Years, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2 stages.

Prospective families are invited to contact the school office for information regarding enrolment and current school fees. The admission process requires each child to undergo an assessment, which may be written or oral, to ensure they have reached an appropriate standard. Upon receiving an offer of admission, parents must pay an enrolment fee within seven days to secure their child's place.

The school operates from Monday to Friday, with foundation years running from 8:00 am to 1:30 pm and primary years from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm. School gates close to vehicles at 7:50 am, and punctuality is strictly enforced. Parents are required to use a designated pick-up card when collecting their children at the end of the day.

The purpose-built campus features air-conditioned, tastefully furnished classrooms and large grounds with play equipment. Specialist facilities include a well-resourced library, an ICT suite, a science laboratory, an art and design studio, a music gallery, and a school hall. Additionally, the school maintains a sick bay and activity rooms to support a balanced learning environment.

Cedarwood School provides a range of extra-curricular activities designed to enrich the pupil experience. These include drama, taekwondo, music, cookery, and dance. The school also hosts various events throughout the year, such as sports days, end-of-session productions, and Christmas celebrations.
