Christian Teaching Institute (CTI)

The school is rooted in Christian values, aiming to instill knowledge, citizenship, culture, leadership, international mindedness, and faith in God. It fosters a family-like environment where students and teachers share common concerns and celebrate successes in partnership. The institution is dedicated to excellence and has been educating students since 1960.

CTI offers a comprehensive curriculum from kindergarten through secondary school. It is an IB World School for the Diploma Programme (DP) and a candidate school for the IB Primary Years Program (PYP). The academic offering includes the Lebanese Baccalaureate track, the IB Diploma, and preparation for SATs. Instruction is provided in English, French, and Arabic, with the school holding CELF-A certification for its French language programme in collaboration with the Institut Français.

The school reports a 100% passing rate in both the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma and the Lebanese governmental Baccalaureate exams. Graduates consistently achieve superior grades and are accepted into their universities of choice, becoming active members of society both locally and internationally. Students also achieve excellent results in DELF French examinations and SATs.

Admission is based on merit, previous academic and conduct records, and the results of an entrance exam, which may be waived in certain cases. Prospective families must complete an online application and attend an interview. Required documentation includes identification, school records, and, for non-Lebanese students, a valid residency permit and Ministry of Education equivalence.

The school year typically runs from September to June, with final results released in July. The calendar includes major holidays such as Christmas, Easter, and Lebanese national holidays, alongside academic milestones like trial exams for grade 12, mid-year exams for grades 7–11, and final exams. Specific events include a Christmas musical, teacher appreciation days, and end-of-year trips.

The campus is located on Mar Maroun Street in Horsh Tabet, Sin el Fil, Lebanon. It features facilities for academic and extracurricular pursuits, including laboratories for science and cultural studies. The school also utilizes external sports venues for its athletic teams.

Students participate in a variety of activities, including Model United Nations (MUN), drama, music, and art. The school maintains active sports teams, such as football and basketball, which compete in tournaments. Additionally, students engage in community service and charitable initiatives, such as donation drives for displaced persons, as part of their CAS (Creativity, Activity, Service) requirements.
