Cobham Hall

Guided by the motto "There’s more in you than you think," the school focuses on developing the whole child by nurturing individual talents and interests. As a member of the Round Square network, it integrates the IDEALS of Internationalism, Democracy, Environmentalism, Adventure, Leadership, and Service into its educational approach. The school prioritizes student wellbeing, fostering an environment of trust, respect, honesty, kindness, and tolerance.

The school offers a comprehensive curriculum for students aged 11–19, including a Pre A-Level programme for 16-year-olds and an International Foundation Year in Art and Design. It provides short-stay and immersion programmes for international students, which integrate intensive English language instruction with mainstream classes and cultural activities. All students in Years 7 to 12 are required to use a school-designated digital device to support their learning.

The Student Support Department (SSD) provides literacy and mathematical support, including one-to-one sessions, access arrangements, and classroom assistance. The Bligh House SEND Centre provides further specialist teaching and support for students with special educational needs and disabilities.

Cobham Hall is a non-selective, co-educational day and boarding school for students aged 11–19. Prospective families are encouraged to visit the school for a tour or attend an Open Morning to experience the campus. The admissions process is supported by a dedicated team, and the school offers scholarships and bursaries for eligible students.

The school operates on a three-term academic year, with term dates published at least a year in advance. Each term includes scheduled Exeat weekends and half-term breaks. Boarding houses remain open for a period after the end of each term to accommodate international students travelling long-haul.

Set within 150 acres of Grade II* designed parkland, the campus features historic buildings alongside modern educational facilities. On-site amenities include a fitness room, tennis courts, a swimming pool, and dedicated boarding houses. The school also hosts the Bligh House SEND Centre, a specialist provision for students aged 11 to 16.

The school offers a wide range of co-curricular activities, including sports, music, drama, and the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award. Students may participate in inter-house competitions, join or run student-led clubs, and engage in the Saturday Enrichment Programme. Leadership opportunities are available through the Student Leadership Team, which includes House Captains and Guardians, as well as roles such as Wellbeing Ambassadors.
