Colegio Los Pinos

Colegio Los Pinos is dedicated to the integral education of girls and young women, grounded in Christian virtues and values, specifically those of the Opus Dei. The school aims to form leaders who are committed to excellence, service, and the common good within an environment of freedom and responsibility. Its mission is to partner with families to help students discover and maximize their talents to generate a positive impact on the world.

The school provides a comprehensive academic programme spanning from preschool through secondary school, incorporating the International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum. It offers a trilingual education with English and French instruction, leading to international certifications such as Cambridge (B2–C1) and DELF (A2–B2). Additionally, the school offers a "Diploma Dual" programme in partnership with Academica Corporation, allowing students to simultaneously earn their Ecuadorian high school diploma and an American High School Diploma.

The school employs a system of personalized tutoring where tutors work in close collaboration with families to ensure the integral development of each student. This support system focuses on the academic, personal, and spiritual growth of the girls, providing individual attention to meet their specific needs.

The admissions process involves four steps: contacting the school, a family interview, an evaluation of the student, and the final enrollment process. Prospective families can initiate the process through an online form available on the school's website. The school provides specific tuition and enrollment fee structures for different grade levels, ranging from Pre-nursery to the final year of secondary school.

The campus spans over three hectares and is designed to support academic, physical, and spiritual development. Facilities include a coliseum, various sports courts, science laboratories, green areas, and an oratory. The school also features an auditorium used for theatrical performances and musical presentations.

The school offers a variety of extracurricular clubs designed to foster leadership, creativity, and physical development. These include a UN Club for debate and public speaking, a theatre club that produces two annual plays, a film club, and an entrepreneurship club affiliated with Junior Achievement. Additionally, students can participate in artistic workshops such as music (choir, piano, violin, guitar, ukelele), ballet, flamenco, and visual arts, as well as sports clubs including athletics, rhythmic gymnastics, basketball, volleyball, football, and taekwondo.
