The Collège de Lévis is a private secondary institution in Lévis, Quebec, that provides a diverse range of academic, sports, and arts programs to foster student success and development. It is a long-standing educational community that integrates modern technology and specialized pathways to prepare students for the future.

Teaching approach

Founded in 1853 by Monseigneur Joseph-David Déziel, the school is rooted in Christian values and is committed to transmitting knowledge with passion. Its educational project centers on the academic success and personal fulfillment of every student, supported by a dedicated staff and an involved administration. The school operates as a member of the Fédération des établissements d’enseignement privés (FÉEP) and conducts all instruction in French.

Programmes

The school offers ten distinct programs, including the "Défi-passions" (Arts, Sciences, Sports, and Success) and a specialized "Langues et monde" track that includes Spanish instruction and international immersion trips. Other offerings include an Art and Multimedia Design program, the "Commandeurs" sports concentrations, and an enriched French pathway that allows for accelerated completion of ministerial requirements. English instruction is provided through three pathways: Core English, Enriched English, and English Language Arts (ELA), with all students utilizing iPads as a primary learning tool.

Outcomes

The school focuses on academic success, specifically the attainment of the secondary school diploma, and the personal development of its students. Graduates are prepared for college-level studies through a curriculum that emphasizes mastery of French and English, including an accelerated French program that allows students to complete the ministerial exam in 4th secondary. The school also offers three pathways in English, including an English Language Arts (ELA) program that prepares students for the same ministerial exams as those in English-language schools.
