Cygnus World School is a progressive, co-educational institution that provides a holistic, child-centered education within an aesthetically designed, green campus. Programmes

The school follows the CBSE curriculum for Grades 1 to 12 and provides early education through its Cheviot Kids programme for ages 3 to 5. The academic structure is divided into Cheviot Kids, Primary School (ages 5-10), Middle School (ages 10-15), and High School (ages 15-18). Global programmes include academic immersion opportunities and partnerships with institutions such as Bickley Park School (UK), Belgrano School (Argentina), and Mills Berry School (Nepal), alongside career counselling and test preparation resources via Cialfo and Khan Academy.

Outcomes

Graduates have secured placements at national and international institutions, including Virginia Tech, the University of Melbourne, Boston University, Rutgers University, and various Indian institutes such as BITS Pilani, St. Stephen's College, and the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER). Students also achieve recognition in competitive arenas, such as the National Kickboxing Championship.

Admissions

The admission process begins with an online inquiry and a virtual campus tour. Following an admission presentation and a virtual meeting to understand the school culture, families complete a registration form. For students from Pre-KG to Grade 9, an interaction session is held, after which a formal offer letter is issued based on seat availability. The process concludes with a parent orientation program at the start of the academic year.

Calendar

The academic year is divided into two terms. Term 1 runs from April to September, and Term 2 runs from October to March. Admissions are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to seat availability.

About the campus

The 7.3-acre IGBC-certified green campus features three separate academic blocks, each with its own play area. Facilities include tech-enabled classrooms with projectors, smart boards, and computers, as well as specialized technology centers, research libraries, and an audio-visual theatre. Sports infrastructure comprises three playgrounds, six indoor badminton courts, three basketball courts with Swedish Bergo tiles, a skating rink, and a football field. Additionally, the school provides a 450-seat dining hall and a safe transport system.

The school offers a wide range of co-curricular activities across various genres, including visual arts, literature, dance, cinema, sculpture, music, and drama. Students have access to a 10,000-square-foot multi-purpose indoor space and an amphitheatre for creative outputs. Sports offerings include cricket, basketball, football, volleyball, badminton, yoga, athletics, and skating.
