Admissions

Denstone College welcomes pupils from Reception through to Sixth Form. The admissions process begins with a visit, followed by registration and an assessment or taster day. For the College, assessments include Cognitive Abilities Tests (CAT4), an interview, and problem-solving activities, while Prep pupils participate in a taster day. Set within 109 acres of rural Staffordshire, the campus features dedicated teaching spaces, a library, and St Chad’s Chapel. Sports facilities include a sports hall, astro-turfs, a 25m indoor heated swimming pool, a 9-hole golf course, a running track, and an Athletic Development Centre. The school also provides a theatre and a recently renovated dining room.

Co-curriculars

The school offers a wide range of co-curricular activities, including the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award (Bronze to Gold), the Combined Cadet Force (CCF) for Army and RAF sections, and over 30 after-school clubs such as fencing, Zumba, and Police Cadets. Musical opportunities include string groups, choirs, and individual instrument lessons, while LAMDA examinations are available from Prep 2.
