Programmes

The school offers the full International Baccalaureate (IB) continuum: the Primary Years Programme (PYP), the Middle Years Programme (MYP), and the Diploma Programme (DP). The PYP incorporates a Reggio Emilia-inspired approach in the Early Years, while the MYP includes community and personal projects. The DP curriculum features the core components of Theory of Knowledge (TOK), the Extended Essay (EE), and Creativity, Activity, Service (CAS). A distinct feature is the Home Language Programme, which supports 12 languages, alongside modern language offerings in Arabic, French, and Spanish.

Admissions

The school follows an online application process via an Open Apply account. Applicants for Early Years undergo an observation of social interaction and play, while students in Grades 1-5 participate in one-on-one assessments in Math and English. Middle and High School applicants (Grades 6-12) must complete an online standardized test and an interview with the Head of Section. Acceptance is determined by these assessments, previous school reports, and teacher recommendations.

Calendar

The academic year is divided into three terms. The first term typically runs from late August to mid-December, the second term from early January to late March, and the third term from late March to late June. The calendar includes scheduled breaks for mid-term, national holidays such as Qatar National Day and National Sports Day, and religious holidays including Ramadan, Eid Al Fitr, and Eid Al Adha.
