Ecole La Chrysalide

La Chrysalide is an active, inclusive school that integrates Montessori pedagogy with the International Baccalaureate (IB) framework. It focuses on the child as the primary actor in their own learning, fostering values such as autonomy, responsibility, peace, and international cooperation. The school utilizes "Positive Discipline" to build confidence and self-esteem, aiming to develop creative, critical, and responsible citizens.

The school provides a trilingual curriculum organized into three cycles: the "Children's Community" for ages 2-3, the "Children's House" for ages 3-6, and the Elementary school for ages 6-12. As an IB World School, it is authorized to offer the Primary Years Programme (PYP). The academic approach emphasizes autonomous work periods, the use of specialized Montessori materials, and a focus on the child's emotional, intellectual, physical, and social development.

The admissions process begins with a school visit and an interview with parents by appointment. Following this, the school conducts an observation of the child, with a decision provided within 48 hours. Final registration requires the payment of reservation fees, the submission of a complete registration file, and the payment of remaining fees.

The school operates from Monday to Thursday, with administration hours from 8:15 am to 5:15 pm and Friday from 8:15 am to 1:00 pm. Preschool hours are 8:15 am to 3:45 pm (Monday-Thursday) and until 12:00 pm on Fridays. Elementary hours are 8:15 am to 4:00 pm (Monday-Thursday) and until 12:15 pm on Fridays, with after-school activities available from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm.

Located on a site of over one hectare in central Agadir, the campus features classrooms of at least 80m² equipped with Montessori materials. Outdoor facilities include an arboricultural playground, a vegetable garden, and an animal park. Sports infrastructure includes a multisports field, a football pitch, and a dedicated psychomotricity room.

The school offers after-school activities designed to stimulate curiosity and develop specific skills.
