The school offers a curriculum adapted to individual needs, with junior pupils in the Poplar base following an adapted primary curriculum in small groups. In the Senior School, pupils work toward GCSEs or other appropriate accredited qualifications, with a choice between academic, vocational, or practical pathways. Core subjects include English, Mathematics, and Science, supplemented by subjects such as History, Geography, Spanish, IT, Drama, Music, Art, Food Technology, and PE, alongside a discrete PSHE and RSE programme.

The school provides targeted, on-site specialist support for pupils with a range of additional needs, including Speech, Language and Communication needs, Autistic Spectrum Conditions, ADHD, Dyslexia, Dyscalculia, Dysgraphia, and SEMH difficulties. Specialist and classroom staff work collaboratively to integrate this support into the daily curriculum, ensuring pupils can access learning and make progress in a calm, safe environment.

The school maintains a thorough, non-selective admissions process that begins with a review of professional reports, school records, and EHCP documentation to ensure the school can meet a child's specific needs. Prospective students are invited for a three-day visit to join an appropriate peer group and work with the SEN team, allowing staff to observe the child and determine the necessary support and provision. Following a successful assessment, an offer letter is issued detailing the required specialist support and a fee estimate, which is secured upon payment of a deposit and signing a contract.

The school operates on a termly basis, with specific dates for terms and parent events available via the school's website. Parents are encouraged to contact the Registrar to reserve places on scheduled Open Days.

Located on a spacious site in Berkhamsted, the campus features modern buildings, including designated areas for the junior school, specialist teaching, and support services. The grounds include playing fields, and the school has developed specific spaces to accommodate the needs of older pupils and specialist therapy.

All pupils participate in a weekly afternoon of activities designed to broaden their interests and skills. Offerings include skiing, golf, trampoline, yoga, film club, and illustration. Additionally, pupils take part in sports, games, and educational visits to places of interest.
