Seeker Bilingual Montessori School

Seeker is rooted in authentic Montessori principles, emphasizing freedom within clear, consistent boundaries. The school culture is built on intent, honesty, humility, and responsibility, with a focus on fueling intrinsic motivation rather than using external incentives like grades. It places a strong emphasis on the mental and physical health of the entire school community, including the importance of sleep, nutrition, and exercise.

The school offers a bilingual Montessori programme for children aged 4–6, known as the Children’s House. The curriculum integrates Dutch and English, focusing on hands-on learning and the development of individual skills. The school does not use graded tests or homework, instead utilizing online portfolios and journals to track individual progress and development.

The school focuses on the development of the whole child, fostering independence, responsibility, and a love for learning rather than performance on graded tests. Students build a real-world skills portfolio through collaboration and purposeful work. The school aims for children to develop character, curiosity, and the ability to overcome struggles, preparing them to be confident individuals.

The school maintains small class sizes to ensure individual attention, with a maximum ratio of 12 children per guide. To ensure continuity of learning, a second teacher is always present in the event of staff illness. All guides are fully qualified, holding either a Dutch primary education teaching degree (Pabo) or an equivalent, alongside specialized Montessori training.

The admissions process begins with a visit or video call to introduce the school and assess family alignment with Montessori values. Following this, the school reviews applications based on cultural alignment, readiness for a Montessori environment, and classroom balance. Once an offer is extended, a place is secured upon the signing of an enrollment contract and payment of a €2,500 reservation fee. Annual tuition for the Children’s House is €25,500, which may be paid in full or in 11 monthly installments.

The school operates on an annual cycle, with enrollment currently open for the September 2026 intake. Parents receive key dates and a handbook upon enrollment. The school emphasizes a consistent daily rhythm and routine to support child development.

Located at Boschdijk 623-625 in Eindhoven, the school provides a calm, carefully prepared environment designed to support Montessori learning. For the 4–6 age group, the learning space is kept entirely free from screens and technology to prioritize hands-on exploration. The campus includes facilities for outdoor play and physical activity.

The school prioritizes family time, friendships, and sports outside of school hours, and therefore does not assign homework. During the school day, students engage in outdoor play, gym classes, and sports workshops to support physical health. The curriculum also incorporates hands-on projects and purposeful work to build a real-world skills portfolio.
