Admissions
The school welcomes applications from international and local families, with a Head of Admissions available to guide applicants through the process. About the campus
The campus features a newly constructed STEM zone, which is designed to immerse students of all ages in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. The school also provides dedicated spaces for visual and performing arts, as well as athletic facilities to support its competitive sports programme.
Co-curriculars
Students participate in a wide range of activities, including the Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award and competitive sports through the Northwest European Council of International Schools (NECIS) tournaments. The school also offers an extensive after-school programme, which includes opportunities in visual and performing arts, such as theatre and music, as well as robotics and Model United Nations.
Andreas KoiniHead of SchoolAndreas Koini has three decades of teaching experience and has served as Head of School at AIS since 2015. He holds a double Hons. Masters’ in Education, Mathematics and Sports Science, as well as a Master of Science in Finance. He is active in international education leadership, serving on the NEASC Commission for International Education and as chairperson of the Northwest European Council of International Schools (NECIS).

He holds a degree in English from Cambridge and has taught in the UK, Italy, and Thailand.
