El Gouna International School

The school's mission is to challenge, inspire, and empower students to realize their full potential as life-long learners. The International British Section follows the National Curriculum for England from EYFS through to IGCSEs and AS/A Levels, with exams administered via Cambridge (CAIE) and Pearson Edexcel. The National Language School Section provides the Egyptian curriculum, with English as the primary medium of instruction for most subjects, excluding Arabic, Social Studies, and Religion. Additionally, the school offers a German Language DSD Programme to students in both sections.

The school maintains a clinic staffed by a healthcare professional to provide routine first aid and regular health check-ups. For emergencies, the school refers students to the nearby international hospital in El Gouna.

The school operates a rolling admissions policy based on seat availability. The process includes an application submission, an age-appropriate academic assessment in core subjects, and a formal interview with the school leadership team for both parents and the child.

The academic year is divided into three terms, typically running from September to June. The calendar includes scheduled half-term breaks, a spring break, and observance of various national and public holidays.

The campus features a 25m temperature-controlled swimming pool, multiple science laboratories, and two upgraded ICT labs. Sports facilities include three AstroTurf areas with football fields, a basketball court, and a shaded table tennis area, alongside an indoor multipurpose hall and various shaded outdoor playgrounds.

The school offers a variety of activities, with 13 total programmes available to students. These activities are designed to foster community and are often held jointly between the British and National sections.
