Programmes

The school offers the full IB continuum: the Primary Years Programme (PYP), the Middle Years Programme (MYP), and the Diploma Programme (DP). The MYP consists of a five-year learning unit covering eight subject areas, while the DP curriculum includes the core and six subject groups. Additionally, the school offers a Post Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) scholarship programme in partnership with University College Fairview in Malaysia.

Outcomes

As part of a global network of IB schools, Fairview graduates have a consistent 100 per cent pass rate. Research indicates that IB Diploma students from the network are significantly more likely to enroll in top 20 higher education institutions and achieve first-class or upper second-class honours degrees compared to A-level qualifiers.

Admissions

The school maintains an inclusive, family-oriented admissions process that accepts applications throughout the academic year. Prospective families are encouraged to visit for a tour and a 1-2 day taster experience, during which students in Year 3 and above complete a CAT4 cognitive abilities assessment. Final offers are based on a holistic review of academic records, personal achievements, interests, and a meeting or interview with the Headteacher.

Calendar

The academic year is structured into four quarters of approximately 10 weeks each. The school year typically begins in August and concludes in June, with scheduled breaks for winter, spring, and summer holidays.
