Forest Ridge School of the Sacred Heart

Founded in 1907, the school is grounded in Sacred Heart values and is the only Sacred Heart school in the Pacific Northwest. It aims to empower girls to grow as thinkers, leaders, and compassionate changemakers, fostering a community where students are known, celebrated, and supported to take risks and discover their passions.

The academic program serves grades 5–12 with a rigorous, integrated global curriculum. Upper school students utilize a "Mod Schedule," and all students have access to signature programs including Endorsement Pathways (Global Citizenship, The Arts, or STEM), an Immersive Week, and the Advanced Integrated Seminar (AIS) senior capstone project. Additionally, students in grades 8–12 may participate in the Sacred Heart Exchange program, which connects them with over 150 schools in 41 countries.

The school maintains a 100% acceptance rate for graduates to four-year colleges or universities. Alumnae are recognized as Sacred Heart women who continue to live the school's mission, with 80% of graduates holding leadership positions after high school.

A collaborative team of counselors, teachers, and specialists provides support for academic success and personal wellbeing. The school helps students build confidence, resilience, and empathy, and connects families with additional learning or wellness resources when necessary.

The school accepts applications for middle and upper school students. Prospective families may request information, visit the campus, and engage with enrollment ambassadors to learn more about the application process and tuition affordability. International applicants are also welcomed.

The school operates on a standard academic calendar with key dates throughout the year. The campus observes major holidays, such as the July Fourth holiday, and provides a full schedule of events through the Veracross portal.

Located in Bellevue, Washington, the campus serves as a hub for student learning and community. It provides dedicated spaces for academics, athletics, and student life, supporting a diverse range of activities from arts and music to STEM and sports. The school also offers transportation services via six bus routes serving the Puget Sound area, as well as before and after-school care.

Students participate in a wide range of activities, including athletics, student leadership, and various clubs. Middle school offerings include Art, Baking, Chess, and Math clubs, while upper school students may join the Sustainability, Neuroscience, Global Citizenship, or STEM clubs. Additionally, students can serve in leadership roles such as ASB Student Council members, affinity group leaders, or enrollment ambassadors.
