Curriculum
Teaching approach
The school is committed to providing a rigorous, dual-immersion bilingual education within a nurturing, community-oriented environment. It emphasizes academic excellence, global citizenship, and the development of critical thinking, creativity, and leadership skills. The educational approach is rooted in the belief that learning should be a pleasurable experience that fosters deep, long-lasting knowledge.
Programmes
The academic program is divided into three learning cycles: Cycle 1 (Preschool, Pre-K, and Kindergarten) focuses on language, sensory-motor skills, and socialization; Cycle 2 (1st–3rd grade) focuses on mastering reading and writing in both languages; and Cycle 3 (4th–6th grade) focuses on academic consolidation. The curriculum integrates project-based learning, inquiry-focused studies, and the Science of Reading. Additionally, the school offers a Mandarin program and provides a French Language Certificate. The school is accredited by the French Ministry of Education, the California Association of Independent Schools (CAIS), and the California Department of Social Services for its early childhood program.
Outcomes
Students are prepared for success in both international and American educational pathways through assessments such as the French National Evaluations and NWEA MAP/i-Ready. By the end of the consolidation cycle (4th–6th grade), most students have mastered both French and English to succeed academically in secondary school. The program aims to develop confident, curious, and compassionate learners who possess cognitive agility and empathy.
Student support
Learning support
The school utilizes a cycle-based learning system to accommodate variations in the developmental pace of students. Educational continuity is supported through regular communication between the school and families via report cards, which summarize the competencies and skills acquired during each learning cycle.
