Founded in 1951, the school is a corporate work of Opus Dei that emphasizes a Christian sense of life, human values, and academic excellence. It promotes a personalized educational model that fosters autonomy, responsibility, sincerity, and loyalty, working in close partnership with families. The school's motto, 'Sea nuestro sí, sí; sea nuestro no, no,' reflects its commitment to honesty and integrity.

The school offers a full educational pathway from Infantil (nursery/kindergarten) through Primaria, ESO, and Bachillerato. It is an authorized IB World School for the Primary Years Programme (PEP) and provides eight distinct Bachillerato itineraries, including an International Dual Program. The curriculum is trilingual (Spanish, English, and Basque), with French offered as an elective from primary school onwards.

The school reports excellent results in external assessments, including PISA tests, where it ranks among the top schools in Bilbao and Bizkaia. The official enrollment period for the 2026-2027 academic year is scheduled from February 2 to February 13, 2026. Families must submit applications electronically via the Department of Education website or in person at the school if it is their first-choice institution. The school offers personalized visits throughout the year for families to tour the facilities and learn about the pedagogical project.

The school operates during the academic year, with specific enrollment deadlines in February. Summer programs, including the 'Steam English Camp,' are held during the final weeks of June and throughout July. Secretariat hours are Monday to Friday, from 8:30 to 17:00.
