Admissions
Gresham’s offers six primary entry points: Nursery, Reception, Year 3, Year 7, Year 9, and Sixth Form. Prospective families are encouraged to visit the school via Open Days or individual tours before applying. Following an application, the school requests a confidential reference from the applicant's current school and conducts age-appropriate entrance assessments.
Calendar
The school operates on a three-term structure: Michaelmas, Lent, and Summer. Each term includes scheduled half-term breaks and "Home Weekends" where pupils may stay in boarding houses. Boarding houses typically remain open until midday on the day following the end of a term to accommodate travel arrangements.
Facilities
About the campus
Set on a 300-acre estate in North Norfolk, the campus features extensive sports facilities, including over 20 tennis courts, eight rugby and football pitches, four cricket pitches, two floodlit astro-turf pitches, and an indoor swimming pool. The school also houses the Auden Theatre, a recording studio, and the Dyson Building, a dedicated STEAM hub. A new, world-class STEAM campus for pupils aged 7 to 13 is currently under development, with an anticipated opening in September 2027.
Co-curriculars
Pupils participate in a wide range of activities including drama, music, dance, and competitive sports. The school offers the Combined Cadet Force (CCF), the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, and various academic societies. Additionally, pupils engage in community outreach, adventurous expeditions, and woodland activities, with the Creativity, Activity and Service (CAS) programme serving as a core component for IB Diploma students.
