About the campus

The 43-acre campus in Atlanta features a state-of-the-art STEM building and dedicated, stand-alone facilities for the Primary, Lower, Middle, and Upper Schools. Athletic and arts infrastructure includes a Fine Arts Building, two modern gymnasiums, and four expansive athletic fields. The campus also utilizes a "PEAK Immersive Screen" to provide students with enhanced, large-scale visual learning experiences.

Co-curriculars

Students participate in a wide range of clubs, community service initiatives, global programs, and student publications. The school offers 58 Middle and Upper School athletic teams, including sports medicine and various state championship-winning programs. Additionally, the PEAK Leadership Institute provides opportunities for on-campus internships in fields such as sports broadcasting, elementary education, and athletic operations.

  • Tyler SantDirector of Enrollment Management

    Tyler Sant returned to Holy Innocents’ in 2024 as Director of Enrollment Management. He previously served as the school's Director of College Counseling from 2015 to 2021 and has experience as a coach and teacher at HIES. He holds a bachelor's degree from Emory University, a master's in public administration from the University of Georgia, and a certificate in school management and leadership from Harvard.

    Ripken Gorman joined HIES in 2024 as the Associate Director of Enrollment Management & Financial Assistance. He previously worked as an Admissions Counselor at the University of Georgia and began his career as an elementary school teacher through Teach for America. He holds undergraduate degrees from the University of Georgia and a master's degree in teaching from the Relay Graduate School of Education.

  • Claire BenedictAssistant Director of Enrollment Management, PS & LS (Pre-K3 - Grade 5)

    Claire Benedict is a past HIES student and current parent who joined the admissions staff in 2019 after working in the school's communications department. She is a graduate of the University of Georgia's Terry College of Business and the Franklin College of Arts and Sciences.

  • Katie PatrickEnrollment Data Manager

    Katie Patrick is an HIES alumna and current parent who joined the Enrollment Management team in 2006. Over her 18-year tenure, she has served as an Upper School grade-level advisor and cheerleading coach in addition to her admissions work. She holds an undergraduate degree from Southern Methodist University and a master's degree in Counseling Psychology from Northeastern University.

    Bertelie Jules joined HIES after serving as the Middle School Operations Manager at The Lovett School. She is a former member of the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir and a current member of the Mt. Paran Choir in Atlanta.
