Huda School and Montessori

Huda School is a non-profit, independent institution that integrates state curriculum requirements with an Islamic educational environment. Its mission is to inspire academic excellence, develop mature Islamic personalities based on the Quran and Sunnah, and cultivate intercultural understanding. The school aims to help students grow academically, spiritually, intellectually, and emotionally while fostering a love for their faith.

The academic offering includes a Montessori program, an elementary curriculum, and an intensive International Baccalaureate (IB) and college preparatory pathway for grades 6–12. A core component of the curriculum is the specialized Islamic Education program, which encompasses the study of the Holy Quran, Arabic linguistics, and Islamic studies. The school emphasizes critical thinking and problem-solving skills, linking academic knowledge to daily life activities.

Registration is conducted exclusively online through the Synergy ParentVUE system, with new parent registration opening annually on April 1. Admission is managed on a first-come, first-served basis, and enrollment is contingent upon final approval by the school principal. Applicants for grades 1–12 must provide official transcripts and standardized testing results, while all new middle and high school students undergo a preliminary acceptance process that includes an administrative interview. Placement testing is required for all grade levels, with specific arrangements made individually or following registration.

The school operates two campuses with distinct daily schedules. The Lower Campus operates from 8:07 AM to 3:42 PM, and the Upper Campus operates from 7:55 AM to 3:25 PM. Specific academic calendar dates are published annually.

Huda School operates two separate campuses. The Lower School, located in Franklin, serves students from toddler care through 5th grade, while the Upper School in Farmington Hills serves students in grades 6–12. The school also provides a hot lunch program and latchkey services for families.

The school offers a variety of student clubs and organizes community outreach projects. Students are encouraged to participate in service initiatives that engage both Muslim and non-Muslim communities to foster a spirit of giving back. Additionally, the school employs an athletic director to oversee sports-related activities.
