HVBGA rejects traditional teacher-centric, rote-learning models in favor of an egalitarian, inclusive approach that prioritizes the Happiness Quotient (HQ). The school blends pedagogy and andragogy to nurture resilience, independence, and creativity, ensuring students remain globally connected while rooted in Indian values.

The school offers the complete Cambridge Pathway, from the Cambridge Early Years Programme through to Grade 12 (AS & A Levels). The curriculum integrates AI-based learning, the RIGHT (Resilience, Independence, Growth, Happiness Toolkit) curriculum, and specialized skill-based programs.

HVBGA focuses on the Happiness Quotient (HQ) as a measure of overall well-being, tracking student growth across five dimensions: Intelligence, Emotional, Digital, Social, and Creative quotients. The school aims to produce self-actualized, informed, and productive individuals prepared to be future leaders.

The school employs two in-house counsellors to support the emotional well-being of students, teachers, and parents. Additionally, the school is a certified Cambridge PDQ Centre, ensuring educators are trained to global standards.

The Marine Drive campus features state-of-the-art infrastructure, including a multi-sports turf, a pool and recreation zone, and a library. The school provides pure vegetarian/Jain meals and maintains an indoor environment for student recreation and wellness.

Students participate in eight student-led clubs, including AI, Research, MUN, Art, Entrepreneurship, and Climate Action. Additional activities include speech and drama, music, dance, robotics, coding, martial arts, and various sports supported by a multi-sports turf.
