Imagine School at North Port

It is a Cambridge school, providing the Cambridge curriculum for grades 6-10, with plans to expand to a full 6-12 pathway. Imagine School at North Port is recognized as an "A" school. It has been awarded the Green Shield School designation by The Positivity Project for its commitment to character and relationship-driven systems. The school provides counseling services and maintains an ESE (Exceptional Student Education) department to support students with diverse learning needs. Imagine School at North Port is a public charter school that admits students regardless of race, religion, color, gender, physical handicap, or national origin. Enrollment is subject to class size limitations, with preference given to siblings of currently enrolled students and children of Imagine Schools employees. When demand exceeds available space, the school utilizes a lottery process to determine admission, while non-oversubscribed grades operate on a first-come, first-served basis. Families must complete an annual re-enrollment process to maintain their registration.

The school operates on a standard academic calendar, with specific events such as summer band camps and back-to-school events scheduled during the summer months. The school is closed for designated periods, including early July. Detailed testing calendars and bell schedules are maintained for both the elementary and upper campuses.

The school currently operates across two locations: an elementary campus at 1000 Innovation Avenue and an upper campus at 2757 Sycamore Street. A new, combined K-12 campus is scheduled to open in August 2026 at 1998 East Price Blvd. Existing facilities include music rooms, gymnasiums, and specialized areas for art, STEAM, and physical education.

Students have access to a variety of clubs and activities, including band and choir, which hold seasonal concerts. The school also hosts events such as spirit nights and a back-to-school bash. Athletics are available for students, and the school maintains a National Honor Society chapter.
