Instituto Iberia

The Instituto Iberia is a secular educational community founded in 1941 that promotes a humanistic, constructivist, and discovery-based pedagogical model. It focuses on forming ethical, competent individuals through values such as respect, responsibility, integrity, multiculturalism, creativity, and gratitude, while aligning its educational goals with the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

The school provides education from the Initial Level (starting at age 3) through Primary and Secondary levels, following an eclectic-constructivist model. While not a bilingual school, it integrates daily English instruction and teaches subjects like Science, Social Studies, and Philosophy in English. Students in 5th and 6th grade of Secondary can pursue the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme, which includes core components like Theory of Knowledge, the Extended Essay, and CAS (Creativity, Activity, and Service).

Graduates have access to international university opportunities, supported by the IB Diploma Programme and specific scholarship agreements with institutions like the Universidad Anáhuac in Mexico and the Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM). Located in Santiago, the campus spans a total of 37,384 square meters, featuring 12,049 square meters of green space, 11,355 square meters of sports facilities, and 7,430 square meters of built area.
