The school provides an English-language education for children aged 2.5 to 11, divided into Early Years (ages 2.5–4) and Primary Years (ages 4–11). The primary school follows the International Primary Curriculum (IPC), a thematic-based programme covering subjects including Art, Geography, History, ICT, Language Arts, Music, Sport, Science, and Society. As a Google for Education school, technology is integrated into the curriculum, with students utilising Chromebooks and tablets to access learning resources.

The school is accredited by the Council of International Schools (CIS) and the Council of British International Schools (COBIS), and is recognised as a British Overseas School (BSO). These accreditations provide external validation of the school's high educational standards and ensure that its curriculum and qualifications are recognised worldwide. ISF Tervuren is a non-selective, mainstream school that welcomes applications from all qualified students regardless of race, creed, colour, gender, or national origin. The admissions process requires families to visit the campus for an interview with the Head of Campus, submit an application form, and pay a registration fee. Before enrolment, the school requires a transcript and the most recent school report from the student's current school, as well as a completed medical form. Enrolment is subject to the school's General Conditions, and the school will advise families if a waiting list is in operation for specific classes.

The school year begins in late August and concludes at the end of June. The academic calendar is divided into three terms: Autumn, Spring, and Summer. Each term includes a scheduled half-term break, with additional holidays for winter and Easter/Spring.

The campus is located in the Tervuren commune, south of Brussels, and is accessible via major roads and public transport, including the 316 and 616 bus lines. Facilities include classrooms equipped with interactive smart boards, and students have access to Chromebooks and tablets to support their learning. The school also provides a daycare and crèche service for families.
