Founded in 1911, Istanbul International Community School is one of the oldest international schools in the world, serving the expatriate community in Istanbul. Outcomes

About the campus

The school operates two campuses: the historic Hisar Campus and the purpose-built Marmara Campus. The Hisar Campus (Early Years–Grade 3) features a library, a 90m² PE and music room, a rubberized basketball court, a football pitch, and a climbing wall. The expansive 160,000m² Marmara Campus (Early Years–Grade 12) includes a large automated library, a double gymnasium, multiple sports salons, outdoor basketball and tennis courts, a 6,230m² soccer pitch, science labs, a design technology lab, a 320-seat theater, an outdoor amphitheater, and dedicated visual arts and music facilities.

Co-curriculars

IICS offers a variety of after-school activities and school-organized field trips as part of its student life program. As a member of the Central and Eastern European Schools Association (CEESA), the school participates in intramural athletics, cultural events, and academic competitions that provide students with opportunities to travel and collaborate with peers from schools in 18 other countries.
