Kairos Montessori

Kairos Montessori is a Catholic school that integrates the Montessori method with a vibrant Catholic culture, including spiritual formation through the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd. Kairos Montessori admits students aged 3 to 18, with the age of 3 defined as turning that age by August 31st of the starting year. The admissions process includes a review of the school handbook, a formal visit, a letter of application, and a 2-3 day class experience for the child. The school operates a 2-band fee system designed to support a financially diverse community, with a goal of achieving a 50/50 split between bands by 2030. Sibling discounts are available, and the school offers needs-based St Joseph Bursary Scholarships and one annual merit-based Aquinas Scholarship for students in years 10 or 11.

Located in the pine woods of Quinta da Marinha in Cascais, the campus is situated on a farm setting. The facilities are designed to support an integral approach to environmental stewardship and include dedicated spaces for art, music, and farm-based learning. The school is positioned near the coast, providing proximity to Guincho beach and local forest trails.
