Admissions
The school welcomes applications for day and boarding pupils from ages 0 to 18. Prospective families are encouraged to arrange a private visit to tour the facilities and meet the Head, or attend one of the school's Open Events. Taster days are also available, allowing prospective students to spend a day with their potential year group.
Calendar
The school operates on a three-term structure (Autumn, Spring, and Summer). Terms typically begin in early September, early January, and mid-April, with half-term breaks occurring in October, February, and May/June. The academic year concludes in early July with Speech Day.
Facilities
About the campus
The 150-acre campus includes a state-of-the-art, 540-seat auditorium known as the Great Hall, which hosts international performers and school productions. Sports facilities are comprehensive, featuring an outdoor swimming pool, a school gym, and extensive grounds. The school also maintains a full working farm and a riding arena. For younger children, the Garden Cottage Nursery provides specialized indoor and outdoor learning environments, including all-weather play areas.
Co-curriculars
The school offers an extensive programme of over 100 clubs and activities designed to support student ambitions and curiosity. Sporting opportunities include partnerships with Kent Cricket and the Canterbury Hockey Club, alongside professional coaching in various disciplines. The arts are a significant focus, featuring 15 drama productions annually, seven choirs, ten orchestral groups, and opportunities for LAMDA lessons and choir tours to Europe.
