The school provides a seamless educational journey from Early Years through to Sixth Form. The curriculum is divided into a Core Curriculum (morning sessions for traditional subjects leading to GCSE/BTEC/A-Level qualifications) and an Expansive Curriculum (afternoon sessions for project-based and applied learning). Key academic pathways include STEM, humanities, arts, and vocational subjects, supported by the Earth Centre’s environmental education.

Kingsley School provides robust SEND provision, holding CreSTeD accreditation. Support includes small class sizes, tailored learning programmes, and specialist teachers trained in Quality First Teaching, with additional support available through the Connect Centre. The school also offers English as an Additional Language (EAL) support for international students.

Kingsley School is a non-selective, inclusive institution. The admissions process is personalized, involving a school tour and meetings with the admissions team; while entrance exams are not required, assessments may be conducted to understand a student's individual needs. The school offers scholarships and means-tested bursaries for students from Year 3 through Year 13.

The school operates on a termly basis, with the academic year typically running from September to July. The calendar includes scheduled breaks, such as a half-term holiday in October, and concludes with an end-of-term service in July. Key events include sports fixtures, scholarship interviews, and various academic and co-curricular activities.

The campus features a range of facilities, including a 400-seat theatre, a drama and dance studio, science laboratories, and a library. Sports facilities include an all-weather Astro pitch, four grass pitches, outdoor netball and tennis courts, an indoor sports hall, and a dojo. The school also provides residential boarding houses and an Earth Centre for environmental education.

The school offers a diverse co-curricular programme organized into five pathways: sport, arts, STEM, outdoor education, and the Earth Centre. Activities include the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, Ten Tors, robotics, coding, drama, music, and various sports academies such as rugby, football, netball, gymnastics, judo, and surfing. Students also have access to recreational activities, including cinema nights and leadership opportunities.
