Lebanon Evangelical School

As an institution of the Lebanese Evangelical Society, the school emphasizes moral and spiritual values and aims to foster a Christian fellowship. It seeks to develop the whole child, encouraging students to recognize their internal resources to navigate societal pressures and make constructive contributions. The school is open to students of all backgrounds, regardless of nationality, race, or religion.

The school follows the Lebanese educational structure from Nursery through Class 12, with students typically aiming for the Lebanese Baccalaureate in General Science, Life Science, Sociology and Economics, or Humanities. A "Foreign System" is available for students exempt from Arabic studies, following a British-based curriculum of GCSEs and A levels. Additionally, the school prepares students for the SAT examination in Class 11.

The school provides a secure environment for students with a wide range of academic abilities. It strives to support students who find lessons difficult while simultaneously providing challenges for those who find academic work easy.

Responsibility for registration and entry procedures lies with the Principal. Entrance examinations are held towards the end of the summer term, with potential additional testing in early September, and special arrangements can be made for students arriving from outside Lebanon. Applicants must submit a completed form with a fee, and successful candidates are invited to join following an interview.

The school operates on a term-based system, with specific examination periods scheduled throughout the academic year. Important dates, such as book distribution days and examination schedules, are communicated to the school community via the website.

The campus features computer facilities in both the Junior and Senior sections, with 60 computers available for student use. Sports facilities support a competitive House system, with teams participating in athletics, football, basketball, volleyball, and table tennis tournaments. Additionally, the school maintains laboratories for practical science work.

The school offers a variety of after-school activities and organizes regular trips for different sections throughout the year. Historically, the school has hosted summer camps and, more recently, successful ski camps. Students are encouraged to participate in these extracurricular opportunities.
