The school follows the Cambridge International Curriculum, catering to learners aged 5 to 19. The academic pathway includes Primary and Secondary stages, culminating in Cambridge IGCSE for students aged 14–16 and Cambridge International A Levels for those aged 16–19. Core subjects include Mathematics, English, Science, and Global Perspectives, complemented by subjects such as Art and Design, Music, Physical Education, and Digital Literacy.

The school features a Therapy and Support Center as an integral part of its mission to nurture the unique potential of every learner. This center provides specialised services, including speech therapy, occupational therapy, and behavioural support. Additionally, the school offers catch-up classes and free transitional classes to help students enhance their English language skills.

The admissions process is designed to be simple and efficient, requiring guardians to submit an application form along with passport photos, identification documents, vaccination records, and previous school transcripts. Following the review of these documents, applicants undergo an entrance assessment and an interview to determine appropriate placement. The school welcomes families to contact the admissions office for assistance throughout the enrolment journey.

The school operates Monday through Thursday from 08:00 AM to 05:00 PM, and on Fridays from 08:00 AM to 05:00 PM. The campus is closed on Saturdays and Sundays.

Grand International School operates across three branches in Luanda, including locations in Maculusso and Camama. The campus facilities include a dedicated Therapy and Support Center, a nursery for preschool-aged children, and spaces for sensory play and outdoor discovery. The school also provides resources for music and movement activities to enhance student coordination and expression.

The school offers a diverse range of extracurricular activities to support holistic development, including sports, music, performing arts, language and literature clubs, and social skills development. Specific programmes include swimming classes for all skill levels, which focus on water safety and physical endurance, as well as dedicated Portuguese language classes. Students also participate in events such as Sports Day and themed celebrations to foster teamwork and creativity.
